A Thing of Shreds and Patches
My 8 novels, entitled 'A Thing of Shreds and Patches', cover the period 1945-83. The story deals with a colourful set of characters set against British social and political history of that time.
I wrote it primarily to illustrate how much change we have undergone in that period - more than any other of comparable length in our history - or so I contend.
It is first and foremost a tale of people. No rants, no attempts to convert, simply a story written to entertain against what I hope others will see as an interesting background.
